CWLA Membership
Membership for the 2023/24 year is now open!
Our fees are $55.00 for a full member and $35.00 for an associate member.
The Canterbury Women’s Legal Association was established to support, educate and provide networking opportunities for women lawyers in the Canterbury region. We achieve this by organising social functions including a mid-winter dinner and Christmas lunch, our annual conference and various seminars.
Full membership is open to all females who hold a law degree. Associate membership is available to legal students, legal executives and law librarians. Our current membership fee is only $55.00 and $35.00 for Associate members (including GST).
There are many benefits for members of the Association. Members support the association and its objectives, which in turn exists to support them. Also, members are entitled to attend events organised by the Association at a discounted rate (or for free on some occasions). The combination of these discounts is well in excess of the membership fee.
Each year we host our popular Professional Women’s Conference with a great line up of speakers.
We also have many exciting events planned for 2023/24, including ad hoc “Lunch & Learn” seminars which are free and exclusively available to CWLA Members. Look out for dates and details over the coming months.
